What is the relation of humans to insects? What is predominant; fascination or aversion? What is the reaction of the humankind as soon as habitats of both species cross over?
To find answers to these questions I confronted people with pictures of insects and captured their reaction in photographs and statements. The result was clear; the majority of the people do have a rather negative relation to the world of the insects. Following a questionnaire I could determine the 6 of the „worst“ insects. These 6 insects inspired me to design the wallpaper collection «Insecta Homo». A total of 90 designs are shown in the wall paper swatch book.
